Educational Inequalities and Public-Private Partnerships in Colombian Education

Colombia is one of the countries in Latin America that has a longer tradition in implementing educational PPPs under the form of both voucher programmes and charter schools (colegios en concesión). This project will apply an innovative methodology based on the principles of realist evaluation to understand the nature and direction of PPP impacts in different educational dimensions, as well as what are the challenges and limitations of PPP policies when it comes to guarantee education as a human right.
