By adopting a systematic literature review methodology, this project aims to:
• Find out under which political and economic circumstances education privatization policies are adopted by countries.
• Map out a typology of forms of privatization of education and in education and identify factors favoring those specific forms.
• Understand the role played by a rage of international organizations and other key actors (including think-tanks, private foundations, etc.) in the promotion of privatization policies worldwide.
