Andrea Jover

Andrea Jover is Doctor in Sociology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and is a postdoctoral researcher at GEPS. Her research focuses on social vulnerabilities and educational inequalities, with particular emphasis on evaluating public policies and the role of institutions. In her doctoral research, she examined the well-being of children within the protection system and analyzed the impact of professional interventions on its promotion. She has contributed to projects on school desegregation and Early School Leaving and has extensive experience with mixed-methods research. Her academic trajectory is distinguished by a strong commitment to knowledge transfer, both within academia and in policy and technical spheres. Since 2022, she teaches  teaches courses in the Sociology of Education and supervises undergraduate theses at the Faculty of Education at UAB.
