Edgar Quilabert

Edgar Quilabert holds a PhD in Sociology for his research on the enactment of school autonomy with accountability and its relationship to school improvement in Catalonia. His work focuses on education policy analysis, global education policies, education governance, the privatization of education, and educational inequalities. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher within the ERC-funded project ACCOUNTED, where he studies how shifting accountability from individual schools to school networks impacts governance, collaboration, and educational outcomes. He is a member of GEPS and the Institute of Government and Public Policies at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
