Edgar Quilabert is a PhD researcher at the Sociology Department and Assistant Professor in the Department of Theories of Education and Social Pedagogy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, where he teaches Comparative Education and Economics of Education in undergraduate courses. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies (2018) and a master’s degree in research in Education (2019), both from the same university. His main research interests include global education policies, education governance, privatization of education, public-private partnerships in education and educational inequalities. Within GEPS, he is part of the REFORMED team, where he conducts research on the enactment of school autonomy with accountability and its relationship with educational innovation in Catalonia.
