Judith Jacovkis

Judith Jacovkis is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Education at the UB and a member of the research groups Esbrina (Subjectivities, visualities and contemporary educational environments) and GEPS (Globalisation, Education and Social Policy). Her research interests include the analysis of policies, governance, school experience and the educational trajectories and transitions of children and young people, with a special focus on educational inequalities. She is currently co-coordinator of the edDIT Project, “Technological corporations, digital educational platforms and guarantee of children’s rights with a gender approach”, which explores and analyses the policies, concerns and practices of use of these digital platforms in public schools providing compulsory education in Catalonia.
