Kevin Adasme has been a History and Social Sciences teacher since 2017, having graduated from the University of Valparaíso in Chile. Since then, his professional work has been linked to extracurricular and community education, focusing on children and adolescents who have dropped out of the school system and belong to the most excluded sectors of the country.
In 2022, he joined the Master’s program in Social and Educational Interventions at the University of Barcelona, thanks to a scholarship from the National Agency for Development of Chile (ANID). He completed his master’s degree in September 2024, and since October 2024, he has been pursuing a PhD in Education at the Autonomous University of Barcelona under the supervision of Dr. Mauro Moschetti.
During his PhD, Kevin aims to deepen his research into the causes behind early school dropout and conduct a realist evaluation of school reintegration policies in Latin America and the Chilean State.
